The banter was typical teenspeak – a blend of sarcasm, jilted wit and an aloofness that comes with maturity levels that lie somewhere south of young adulthood. On the tail end of a lunch break in the cool basement of Resi Connell’s Charles City County home, four students talked to and teased one another.
