Speaking Engagements

After several years of offering STEM camps and workshops at their working goat and horse farm in Culpeper, Founders Chris and Resi Connell are moving the operation to the Richmond, VA area. With this new urban farm, the Connells look to expand the farm’s services to include a private, farm-based, alternative high-school. They have several goals for this endeavor. They are to: 1) provide an alternative learning space for students who struggle in a traditional school environment; 2) encourage youth to engage in and possibly pursue careers in agriculture; 3) encourage stewardship or our land and watersheds; and finally, 4) to foster more ready and able citizens, community members and workforce.

Resi Connell, Creator and Co-Founder of LoSU, is an education reframer, a farmer, an education consultant and a speaker. To schedule an interview, informational session or speaking engagement with her, please fill out our contact form.
